It is back after a year and a half and only seven months before 2022 edition. This year the key word was <strong>sustainability<\/strong>, in all its forms. Value fully shared by our company and that we are committed to carry on for years, even confirmed by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.colombodesign.com\/en\/certifications-colombo-design\/\">Green Made certification<\/a><\/strong> and <strong>Company\u2019s Environmental Policy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>green\ncommitment<\/strong> is evident starting with the set-up of the event: trees that guide\nfor the entire duration of the journey, that will be planted in the\nmetropolitan city by 2030 and recyclable wooden walls to substitute traditional\nstands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sustainability goal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal was to create a temporary exhibition where no material was wasted, rather disassembled and recycled, to have a lowest possible environmental impact. Many, in fact, are the architects who presented products entirely made with recycled materials. Stefan Diez with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.archiproducts.com\/en\/products\/magis\/modular-fabric-sofa-with-removable-cover-costume-sofa_515208\">Costume collection<\/a> of modular sofas and Moroso with <a href=\"https:\/\/moroso.it\/prodotti\/secret-cubic-shelves\/\">Secret Cubic Shelves bookcase<\/a> are just some examples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even for\nwhat concerns Fuorisalone we can say that the <strong>art of design<\/strong> and the <strong>sustainability\nmantra<\/strong> were preferred over the pure design of the product. The aim was to\ncreate solutions that could marry perfectly with pandemic needs, so as\ncomfortable as possible, since the <strong>house is back to being<\/strong>, with remote\nworking, <strong>at the center of people\u2019s lives<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sustainability: advantages<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Supersalone\ndevelops on the model of <strong>circular economy<\/strong> where production and consume\nimply re-use, reconditioning and recycling of materials and existing products, to\n<strong>extend their life cycle<\/strong> and <strong>create more value<\/strong>. We are talking\nabout a model that doesn\u2019t bring only environmental advantages, but also business\nbenefits. That could be to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>increase\nthe value of the product offered<\/li><li>reduce\nproduction costs<\/li><li>improve\nthe competitiveness<\/li><li>obtain\ntax benefits<\/li><li>enter\nin new market.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Even\nColombo Design, in fact, uses this practice in different processes such as\nsearch for raw materials, recycling, production, disposal and design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another must, because of the pandemic outbreak, is the <strong>sanitization against virus, germs and bacteria<\/strong>.
