In a highly competitive scenario in the Design and production of bathroom fittings and handles for doors, handles for windows and handles for furniture, Colombo Design is one of the Italian companies that has distinguished itself by introducing a highly performing integrated Quality System (quality, environment, safety, ethics) in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 9001 and 14001 standards in their current version.
The epoch-making challenge to which Made in Italy is called to respond sees Colombo Design as the guarantor of its circular economy project which aims at eco-design and eco-efficiency defined in a roadmap of strategic actions and specific behaviors.
Colombo Design and the focus on the Integrated Quality System
The handle production process has indications for each area of engagement:
Designing and manufacturing products pursuing customer satisfaction in compliance with contractual terms, applicable mandatory requirements and needs and expectations
Ensuring compliance with current environmental regulations and with the requirements applicable to the company’s activity
Operating according to the logic of continuous improvement of performance, defining and monitoring appropriate indicators
Optimizing the reduction of the consumption of natural resources and the production of waste
Carrying out information, awareness and training programs for staff at all levels on product/service quality and environmental protection issues aimed at achieving the objectives
Collaborating with public and local authorities in order to adopt criteria for the correct use of resources, also enhancing the role of natural sources
Ensuring that hygiene, health and safety requirements of its staff are met.
In line with these principles, the Management of Colombo Design has identified measurable indicators (KPIs) for the various company processes, setting respective targets. All the indicators are constantly monitored to check the degree of achievement or deviation from the targets.
